Can we qualify for the 144 hour visa free transit

Arriving from Singapore April 14 at 10:05 pm on China Eastern Airlines flight 568. Staying in Shanghai April 14,15 at Green Serviced apartments in Shanghai. Departing from Shanghai on April 16 /2018 on Norwegian Jewel at 5:00pm . At Sea April 17 returning to China via cruise ship April 18 at 7:00 am Port Tianjin (Beijing) ship remain dockside until April 19/2018 at 4:00pm. The ship goes to port Dalian on April 20th from 7:00am to 4:00pm and we do not return to China for the duration of the trip as we disembark on April 27/2018 in Tokyo. We would be off and on the ship during the hours it is docked in the ports in China. Can we as Canadian citizens qualify for the 144 free transit
