About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

We are German citizens and have a one way ticket from Sydney via Beijing to Frankfurt

In essence we are returning to our home country and would like to visit Beijing on our way back, Are we eligible for the 144 hour free visa transit ?
