About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

When do I have to tramit the 72hrs-free-visa permission?

So here's my plan. I'm from Mexico, and my destiny is South Korea. I will go to Canada, then to Guangzhou Airport, then to South Korea. I got a little confused so here's my question, when do I have to request the free tramit? In Canada while doing the check in? Or after arriving Guangzhou airport? or maybe in Mexico?

You need to inform the airlines that you want to use the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou when you board the flight in Canada. After arrival at Guangzhou airport, you can apply for the free transit at the transit counter.
