About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

We are going from Canada to Hong Kong,Vietnam, Shanghai then back to Canada.

Since the countries of departure and return on our tickets is Canada, are we qualified for the 144-hr visa exemption or does Vietnam our stop-over country counts as the 1st country of departure in the 3- countries rule?

Dear, don’t worry. You can enjoy the 14 4hour free transit in Shanghai if you travel Canada-HK-Vietnam-Shanghai-Canada.
