About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

144 hour visa.Having used this means to travel Amsterdam-Shanghai-Hong Kong-Amsterdam

which worked well,
I was advised if I needed to go again urgently I would have a ticket which was Amsterdam-Shanghai-Paris
as the rule seems to be leave one country arrive in Shanghai and then depart for a third country other than the original departure
which theoretically seems to work.
Are you able to confirm this is an option?

Tony, Amsterdam-Shanghai-Paris qualifies for the 144 hour free transit.

Thanks very helpful, the 144 hrs visa is a great help to business people - 6 days is generally more than enough to get the job done.
