Transit Visa for 2 stopovers in Urumqi and Guangzhou totally 11:45

I am on Iranian passport and traveling from Tehran, Iran to Auckland, New Zealand on a China Southern flight. It will have two stopovers; one in Urumqi for 1:30 hrs and another in Guangzhou for 10:15 hrs. Will I need to apply for a Transit Visa?

Yes, you have to apply for a transit visa in advance.

What if I fly with another flight which will have stopovers in Beijing Capital (PEK) for 4h 15m and another in Guangzhou (CAN) for 10:15 hrs3h 35m. Will I still need to apply for a Transit Visa?

Yes, a visa is still needed, because considering your nationality, Iran, you are not eligible for the 24h visa-free transit. Sorry for this!
