About:Macau Visa Policy

I am a Nepalese working in NZ,

wanted to go to Macau to see my fiance who is working there. As I searched they said we need visa before arrival, so I applied for it with all the papers they said they needed. Also the website said that all the passports except the countries that they mentioned which did not include Nepal has to apply in Wellington despite me living in Queenstown, in South. which I did and I got my papers back saying that I need to send it to Christchurch, which I did again and today after a week I got all my papers back again saying that I need to contact macao immigration P.R china which I did not understand. Ia m going to call them first thing tommorow to know all about it but can someone give me right answers of what I need and where should I apply for it please. I already have my tickets booked to go there at the end of this month and its just irritating that the website is giving me wrong info and also when I called the wellington office to ask the same question where should I apply for the visa they told me I should send my application in Wellington. its just waste of my time nad money really worried now as my holiday and ticket have been booked already.

Based on what I know, your living area belongs to the consular district of the general consulate of China in Christchurch. However, the case may be different when you apply for Macau entry permit, so what the Christchurch consulate said is right. You are advised to send the application to Macau immigration department directly. Here is the address and hot line.
Address: Public Security Police Force Headquarters, Praceta de 1 de Outubro, Macau
Tel: (853) 2857 3333

No, you can't apply online.
If you send the application to Macau directly, it takes 3 weeks.
