Bullet train HK to Shenzen

The article mentioned bullet train 3rd quarter 2018. Is there any idea when this open we will be visiting Shenzen 10th Sept and wish to go by train - bullet train would be fantastic

There is still no news of the exact date. But take HK metro from Shenzhen to Hong Kong is also quite convenient.
