About:China Tourist Visa

I am from New Zealand. Our L type (Tourist) last for 3 months. Can that visa be extended?

How long can the L type issued to a New Zealander be extended for? Can you extend it in China or do you need to go to Hong Kong?

Yes, you can apply for an extension, but the extended time won’t exceed your original duration of stay. You should extend it at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB.
