About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

If they ask me in the counter?

How new is this rule? I am going to Hong Kong but stopping in CHina for 4 nights, then going to Hong Kong! Do all airlines know about this? i call American and they are not very familiar with this law!! i am afraid they will not let me check in if i go! what do you recommed? Is the rule publicized in some official Chinese site?

It's a waste of time calling your airline. The check-in agents at the airport know and have access to the rules. It's not new, and tens of thousands of people do this every year.

You were right!! i went to the counter, they have no clue!!! so i ask for the supervisor and she didn't even know, but i show her all the laws, she look it up and let me embark no problem!!

I got into China, no problem they give the 144 hour free transit in just a few minutes, right before going through international police!!!

So thanks for the tips buddy!! That's the best way going to CHINA if you are in a rush! Because the only reason i went through Hong Kong is because i didn't have to wait for one week for a VISA!! so i am flying to Hong Kong to get my plane back to the US!! it was actually cheaper than paying for a rush VISA!!!
So thanks buddy!
