About:China High Speed Train

Ticket counter at Guangzhou South Railway Station

We are arriving at Baiyun Airport around 10:50 am, not sure how long is the queue for immigration and customs, we need to go to Guangzhou South Railway to take the high speed train to Guilin, we are not sure what time we can get to the train station, can we buy the train ticket upon arriving the train station or if we buy early and missed our train can we get on the next available train?

It's hard to get a ticket at the train station as the trains to Guilin are pretty popular, so I advise to purchase online in advance. Trains depart after 14:00 are better for you as it may take 30-60min to leave the airport and 80min to GZ South by metro. If you fail to catch the train, you can change your ticket for later departures.
