About:China Private Visit Visa

I am working in china on a Z type from the UK

and my wife came to join me last year from America and is studying online while she stays with me, on an S1 type. This finishes in April. How can she get this S1 Visa renewed?

She should first prepare the required materials such as passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, physical examination report, an invitation letter from you and copies of your passport and residence permit, as well as your marriage certificate.
Next, submit the application to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB for renewal.

Hi, thanks for the reply, so am I right in saying that she needs to apply for it all again as a new S1 visa from outside China or can it be renewed while she is in china?
