About:China City Guide

guangzhou: seeking clarification on confusing information from travel portals

How far(km, minutes) is the walking distance from
Xinghe Xianjiang Hotel (Railway Station Branch)
NO.183, West Huanshi Road 510010
to :
a)GZ Railway Station
b)subway/metro line 2 & line 5?
I am confused! Some portals(agoda) give the distance from the hotel and GZ Railway Stn as o.27km, while according to another (trivago.com also expedia.com?) it is 1.2km, and a forum member says it is 0.4km

Well, your hotel is about 10 minutes’ walk east from the railway station and the railway station is also a subway station of line 2 & line 5.
By the way, I think 1.2km is the road length, and 0.4km is the straight-line distance.

Take shuttle bus line 1 to the last stop and walk north for several minutes to your hotel.
