About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Connecting in Macau

I think im ok since Macau is considered a third region, please correct me if im wrong. I want to enjoy the 72 hour Visa coming from the state's to Beijing but when leaving. I will have a connecting flight in Macau to Hanoi. Will I have any problem with my adventure? Thank you in advance for the advice.

Yes, Macau is considered an international destination for Chinese immigration (together with Hong Kong and Taiwan). USA-Beijing-Macau is fine for 144 hours transit without visa if your passport is from one of the qualifying countries.
