About:Longmen Grottoes

traveling from beijing to xi'an and wanting to stop at Longmen Grottoes on the way

does anyone know the best route to take from Beijing to here then to Xi'an via train and public transportation

Well, you can just take a train from Beijing West to Longmen and then transfer to another bullet train to Xian. As I know, there are many trains available.
