About:China Visa Exemption

I am New Zealander and flying from Singapore - Beijing - Dunhung,

there’s an 11 hour layover at Beijing, can I get a transit visa to tour Beijing?

Charlene, do you mean your final destination is Dunhuang in China? If yes, you need to apply for a tourist L type for that.
