About:China Visa on Arrival

Can Canada Immigrant Visa with Bangladesh passport holder get VOA in Kunming?

Hi there,

I will fly to Vancouver from Dhaka with family. Holding Bangladesh and Canada Immigrant visa. Can I get VOA from China Immigration in Kunming? As I have 14 hours transit in Kunming and China Eastern Airlines will provide hotel in Kunming.

Please help me with information

Tanvir, no, you cannot get VOA in Kunming, but you can use the 24 hour direct transit there.

Hey Veronica, Thank you so much for your reply and information. What do you mean by 24 hours direct transit? Could you please describe it more, then I can get an idea about it.

Actually, We (MY family) have 15 hours transit in Kunming, so we want to go Hotel and take a shower and rest about 11 hours for our next long leg to Nanjing and then Vancouver.

So how long is your total transit time in China exactly? If it's over 24 hours you'll need a visa.
