About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour Visa - HKG into Guangzhou

I am Australian. Coming from a stay in HKG to Guangzhou for 3 days. Have onward ticket to Singapore. Can I get 72 hour Visa? Is it also possible to get 72 hour free transit if I take the train or bus rather than the plane?
