About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I want to spend 3.5 months in China, will i get a visa for this duration.

Does the time start from the date of issue or date of entry? and do i need an exit ticket to be able to get the visa? Thanks

No, I’m afraid the duration of stay cannot be 3.5 months.
The validity starts from the date of issue, but the duration of stay start from the date of entering China.
You are advised to apply for a multiple-entry visa.
