Re-entering the country with a X1 type

Hello

This is the situation:
- I am an exchange student in China, and my residence permit allows me to stay until July 2018
- My type is X1 (study)
- In February I wish to travel abroad to Cambodia: does my X1 type allow me to return to China? If not, what can I do in order to come back to China? Knowing that I am French, I will not be able to re-apply for the visa in Cambodia.

Many thanks for your help
Melissa

Melissa, yes, the X1 type and residence permit will allow you to exit and re-enter China. No need to worry.

Hi Peter,
Many thanks for your response. Are you sure? Because on my X1 type it says 1 entry, but then I have my resident permit...
I do feel it would be weird if I weren’t able to freely edit and renter the country, but I’d rather be sure!

As far as I know, the residence permit can allow you to enter and exit for multiple times within its validity.
