About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

ICN -> PVG -> PEK -> NRT allowed?

I previously asked if ICN -> PVG -> NRT was allowed which I understand it is. Now I'm wondering if I can add Beijing in since it also has 144 hours so I can also stoy by the great wall. Also, what's stopping me from simply training from PVG to PEK R/T if it's not allowed and then flying back out of PVG To NRT as long as I'm within 144 hours?

Dear, ICN -> PVG -> PEK -> NRT is not eligible for the 144 hour free transit. If you want to use the 144 hour free transit, you should travel like ICN -> PVG -> NRT or ICN -> PEK -> NRT.

Can't I fly ICN -> PVG -> NRT. While in PVG, can't I train round trip to PEK, see the great wall and go back to PVG to then fly to NRT? Wondering what's going to stop me

There are document checks at train stations. This isn't Via Rail buddy.

Lol. Probably a good thing. Via rail is also so expensive, delayed and slow.

They don´t check the visa at the train station.

But it´s illegal and if you get catch you´re in real trouble.

You'll also get caught if you stay overnight in Beijing, because of the police registration.
