About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flight GRU > NRT > PVG and PVG > NRT > GRU

Hi! I would like to know that, if we have a flight via United Airlines from Brazil to Shanghai and get another flight to Hong Kong with another Airline, could we get a visa 144-Hour Visa-Free Transit.

It would be something like this: GRU_EWR_NRT_PVG (stay 5 days) then PVG_HKG (stay 3 days), then HKG_PVG (stay 5 days) and finally PVG_NRT_EWR_GRU

Thank you very much!

That route looks fine for 144 hours transit without visa twice, as long as your passport qualifies.

Thank you very much!

However, in the meantime, we wouldn't be able to go to Beijing, right?

You can transit without visa (144 hours) in Beijing, or Shanghai, but not both.
