About:China Transit Visa

Do i need apply transit G type?

Im indonesian ,i have flight from Los Angeles via Beijing to Jakarta ,i have transit 10 hr in Beijing Capital international airport . can i exit from airport beijing without visa to get a hotel outside the airport?And should my infant also get visa because his is AMERICAN CITIZEN.

Both of you are able to use the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. You just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the airport and then you can get a hotel to stay.
