from meilan airport to sanya station

I read from info, that I have to take a bullet train from meilan airport station to haikou station or east station; then take train to sanya station.
[1] So one must take two trains?
[2] how much is the bullet train from airport station to main station?
[3] what is the difference taking train from the main station and east station?
[4] if I take a taxi, how long is the journey from meilan airport to sanya? Is it safe to take taxi?
