Harbin ice & snow festival

Hi all, how do we go from beijing? is the festival open all day long? will Harbin be colder than beijing? thanks

Transportation: you may take a high speed train from Beijing Station or South Railway Station to get there in 7-8. Or fly there in 2h from Capital Airport or Nanyuan Airport.

The festival includes many activities in several spots such as Ice and Snow world, Zhaolin Park and Sun Island, which have their own opening hours. But the ice and snow sculptures on Central Avenue are open all day long, and Songhua River skating is always available.

It is much colder than Beijing. You should prepare thick warm clothing, gloves, scarves and masks.
