About:China Visa

I am travelling from the UK to Shanghai to stop for 70hrs

then onwards travel to Osaka Japan - I have been informed this will be allowed under a 144hr shanghai transit visa - Can I apply for this on arrival to shanghai airport.

I will then be travelling back to China stopping in Beijing stopping for 60hrs from Tokyo on my way to Singapore - could I therefore make use of the 72 hr free transit in Beiijing

Thanks in advance

Yes, you should apply for the 144 hour free transit when you arrive at Shanghai airport.
When you return, you can also use the 72 hour free transit in Beijing.
