About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, If I fly to Shanghai for 6 days (within the 144 hours mark)

and within those 6 days I FLY to Beijing for two days, do I apply for both the 144 and the 72 hours air free transit (for Beijing) mark or do I need to get myself a Chinese visa?
