About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Original Passport deposited

I applied for extension in Visa and they have kept my passport and will return after 7 days. Is it okay.
What I need to show as ID to authorities during these 7 days if someone asks in case.

Yes, it is okay.
The exit and entry administration of the local PSB will give you a slip or paper for you to receive your passport after 7 days. If someone asks, you can present the slip or paper to prove your identity.
