About:China Student Visa

Hello,I have an X2 type with 1 entry and I would like to visit some friends in India for a few days.

Is it possible for me to leave China and re-enter on same visa or would I have to apply for another one?

No, you cannot leave and re-enter on the same X2 type because the X2 type is for single entry only.
When you re-enter, you need to re-apply for a new X2 type.
