About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

I just applied for L type extension (2017/12/18)

and they gave me a receipt to claim my passport at 2017/12/27 but my current L type expire at 2017/12/24 it could be a overstay problem? Or if they accept my application means they will give me the visa??
