About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

We fly Melbourne-Beijing-London, but Melbourne-Beijing has a 2 hour stop-over in Guangzhou

We would only leave the airport at Beijing. Could we still qualify for 72 hour transit visa?

No, you won’t qualify for the 72 hour free transit then. You need to apply for a transit G type in advance.
