About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for 72 hrs free visa from Melbourne-Beijing-HK

Hi
Will I be able to use 72 hrs free transit for above route?will fly with Cathay so Melbourne to Beijing will stop over in HK for 1 hr.

You are able to use free transit for the trip Melbourne-Beijing-HK. But you won't qualify for the free transit for the trip Melbourne-HK-Beijing-HK.
