About:China Transit Visa

air company rights

Hi! I am Russian passport holder and I was not allowed to board my flight in Sydney as on register desk they said if I had a layover in more than one Chinese city I could not transit through China without a visa. Is this correct? or I have chance to get my expenses of tickets lost back from air company?

Dear, feel sorry for what you have encountered. The 24 hour direct transit does allow passengers to transit in more than one city, but not all cities support this policy.
You can contact with the air company to see if you can get expenses of tickets lost back. Good luck!
