About:China Tourist Visa

Tourist visa for an assessment in a institute in China

I need do an assessment in a institute in China for three days, I have an invitation letter from that institute, but I don't have invitation letter from china government. Can I apply for tourist visa by the invitation letter from institute, without invitation letter from china government and pls provide me in details.
My expected travels date at 17 Dec.

Hi, it's possible for you to apply for the tourist L type without invitation letter from China government. But you need to have round trip air tickets and hotel reservation, your travel plan, and bank statement for that.
