About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 Visa Free Transit Canadian Citizen

Good Day ,
I am flying via Bangkok arriving Shanghai 3 days prior to departing on a Cruise. Do I qualify for the 144 Hr Free Transit?

Hi, if your travel route is Bangkok-Shanghai-a third country or region rather than Thailand, you will qualify for the 144 Hr Free Transit. Nice trip.

Thank You. However I am wondering as this is the routing.
Vancouver / HKG Connection / BKK stopover/ PVG getting on a cruise and getting off in Singapore. Flight Home consists of Singapore / HKG / YVR

The other routing is Vancouver / HKG connection/ PVG / Cruising to Singapore / Flying home Singapore / HKG connection/ YVR

I just want to make sure that we will qualify for the 144 hr Free Transit.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
