Transit in Shanghai from a holiday in New Zealand

I am travling back to UK from a holiday in New Zealand, in transit for 5hours in Shanghai do I need a visa and if so how much will this cost?

Hi, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit which is free of charge in Shanghai if you travel like that. Nice trip!
