About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Stopover in Beijing. San Francisco-Tokyo-Beijing-Singapore-Thailand-San Francisco

I’m planning to travel San Francisco-Tokyo-Beijing-Singapore-Thailand-San Francisco. Will I be eligible for the 72 hour free transit if I want to stay in Beijing for 2 full days? Do I need to request the 72 hour free transit in San Francisco or in Tokyo?

Hi, you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing for 2 full days by traveling like that. You can apply for it when you arrive at the Beijing airport.
