10 year visa; multiple entries

I’m a US citizen and want to spend a considerable amount of time in China over the course of several years. What’s the most advantageous way of acquiring such an entry permit?

Hi, you can apply for the 10 year multiple entries visa from the China embassy or the consulate for that. If you don't want to do that in person, you can find a relevant agency to do that on your behalf.

What is your reason for coming to China? Tourist L visa (no working allowed) can be obtained in advance for those on US Passport but maximum stay is 60 days for each visit.
