About:Shanghai Metro Ticket

Does children have to pay a fare on Shanghai subway? If yes, is there special rate for children?

As I know, children under 1.3m (4.3feet) can enjoy a free ticket when accompanied with an adult. Children from 1.3m to 1.4m (4.6 feet) only need to pay half.
