Hi, you need to apply tourist L type for China in advance. First, prepare your passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a passport-style photo, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation. Next, submit the application to CVASC. It usually costs AUD109.5 per person for the application.

Thank you.  We have booked with Trip a Deal and don't get our flight details until 6 weeks before our departure date which is 21 Oct 18.  How long does it take to apply for the Visa to come through? Do we do it online? We have current passports now, so can we do it with just those details now in advance of our trip?  Thanks.

It usually takes four working days for the processing, and you cannot make the application online. You should submit the application in person or by post.
