About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Airport transfer between Hongqiao(SHA) airport to Pudong(PVG) airport

Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen landing at Hongquio (SHA) airport and needing to get to Pudong (PVG) airport for my next flight. My total layover time is 8 hours. Do I need an entry permit?

I will be taking the direct airport transfer shuttle from SHA to PVG. In total the shuttle says it should take 1 hour.

Hi, you don't need a visa if you will go to a third country or region different from the last one you come from after transiting in Shanghai. Otherwise, you need to apply for a visa beforehand for the transit in Shanghai.
