About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I need Chinese Visa?

I don't carry passport from above list and I have transit in Shanghai & Kunming before go to different country. Do they allow me to travel from Shanghai to Kunming as it consider domestic flight? OR do I need to apply for visa before hand although I don't have any plan to leave airport.

Hi, if your total transiting in Shanghai & Kunming is less than 24 hours, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in mainland China. No visa is needed. Nice trip!
