It can be hot and rainy in both places during that time and the average temp shall reach around 26 degrees. I suggest you prepare summer clothing, a long-sleeved shirt and rainy gear. You may take your son to have fun at HK Disneyland and Ocean Park. In Macao, the Ruins of St. Paul's, A-ma Temple and Macao Tower are suggested.
