About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Coming back to HK in between old and new employment visas

My gf (From Kazakhstan) has been granted a 3 month entry permit (She doesn't have a HK ID) in the past and extended for 3 times. She left HK two weeks ago and and her entry permit expired. The agency which she works for has re-submitted to Immigration for a new 3 month work entry permit which is yet to be approved (It should take another two weeks). Meanwhile, she is coming back next week as a tourist first and will go to Macau once the employment visa is approved. Will she be ok to come back as a tourist pending the approval (Kazaks have a 14-day tourist visa).

Hi, as I know, she can come back to HK as a tourist by using the 14 days free entry. Don't worry.
