How much does the Chinese Transit Visa cost?

I am travelling from Winnipeg to Kathmandu, Nepal via Kunming, China and lay over time in china is more than 10 hours. As I am a permanent resident of Canada but do not hold Canadian Passport, do I need the Transit Visa for China while I am travelling via Kunming and Nanzing with eastern China Airlines?
Please help me to get the answer.
