72 hours visa free for my transfer

Hi,
I'm not sure if the 72 hours free transit time is also acceptable for my transfer:
Our flight will start in Zurich (Switzerland) on 2017.12.22 at 1.30pm (local time) and will arrive in Peking on 2017.12.23 at 05.15 am (local time).
The next flight from Peking to Melbourne (Australia) will start on 2017.12.26 at 00.40 am (local time).

Am I still in the 72 hour zone or do I need a tourist L?
