About:Hong Kong Travel

Flying to Hong Kong on 1 airline, connecting in HK to another for foreign departure.

I am flying from Cebu to HKG on Cebu Pacific, connecting w/ United Airlines at HKG
for a flight to the U.S. In order to retrieve my baggage at baggage claim, must I
pass through immigration and/or customs before arriving at baggage claim?

No, you don’t need to go through immigration & customs.
