About:Baggage Allowance and Transportation

Baggage allowance from Beijing to Shanghai

Four of us plan to catch the bullet train from Beijing to Shanghai, where we will leave China on a cruise ship. Our trip is 5 weeks in total and we will have over 20kg of luggage each.What are our options? We would prefer not to travel separately from our luggage.

I think you can take your luggage with you directly. Although the policy says 20kg per person, at the station, there seems no strict limitation. Travelers with large baggages go through the security check as well.
