About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is it allowable to travel from the UK to Taiwan then Taiwan to Shanghai then Shanghai back to UK?

The example journeys that I've seen that qualify for 72 hour or 240 hours visa-free transit have been travel to China first then on to a third destination after that.

Yes, Lee, you are right. Taiwan – Shanghai – UK qualifies for the 240h visa free transit. 72 has been extended to 144 earlier this year.
