About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa validity for Italian

Hi, I am Italian and I will be flying Vienna-Hong Kong-Sanya and then Sanya-Hong Kong and from there I’d like to go to Guilin for 5 days before going back to Hong Kong for the return flight to Europe. I already have a single entry Chinese visa: will I be able to enter Guilin even if I transit via Hong kong?
Thank you for advising.

Hi, if you will go to Guilin for 5 days from Sanya instead of HK, you can use your current single entry visa for that.

Hi Betty,
thank you for your reply.
I know I could do that but unfortunately it is not possible since I am flying for business and the ticket has already been issued with a stopover of a few days in Hong Kong.
What would you recommend? Any way I can re-enter China like this?
Thank you

If so, you can try to apply for a single entry tourist L type for Guilin in the office of the commissioner of the ministry of foreign affairs of PRC in HK SAR.
